A few weekends ago we headed up to Utah for my cousin, Christina’s, wedding. It’s always fun to see all my Utah family and Kayli loves all my girl cousins who are just as fun as her aunts. There’s also lots of fun 2nd cousins for her to play with. Rachel and her kids and my mom and dad also went and we all got to stay at my Grandma and Grandpa’s house. We love it there!
Beau was pretty funny with my Grandpa…
Presley kept asking me if she could dance with Kayli… cute girls!
My cousins holding my kids and Rachel’s kids…
Dancing cousins…
Kayli caught one flower from the bouquet…
We went to Temple Square and City Creek the next day…
And Rachel found this cute little store called The Nest on Main in Springville. We took our favorite shopping buddy, McKenna, with us!
Fall is finally here and we are so excited for all the holidays to come! Here’s a look back at the end of our summer…
Beau got his first haircut right after his first birthday. He looked so much more grown up! Grandma Eliason got to be his hairstylist!
We went to Spring Mountain Ranch with most of Kenny’s family to see Taylor in Legally Blonde. He was Emmett! I had never been before and it was seriously enjoyable. Maybe it’s because we left Beau at home with my sister so I didn’t have to chase him around the whole night…haha. We went early and just hung out on the blankets and ate dinner. Kayli had fun and she took a nice little nap on the grass snuggled up in blankets during most of the show.
We like going for walks with the new little cousins!
I ran the Candlelighter’s 5K this past month with my cousin, Em and my survivor sister, Rachel. I got my fastest time yet and placed 4th in my age group. Of course they awarded 1st thru 3rd place!
Last weeknd we got to see Josh, Mandy, and Lexi! We love it!
Beau loved going out for ice-cream with daddy and Grandpa after the Priesthood session of conference.
And Kayli and I loved shopping! She loves to try on clothes in the dressing room.
This past week my Uncle David and Aunt Wendy and their kids were here visiting. Kayli loves Kayryn and was so anxious for her to get here. We went to the Forum Shops with them and took them to FLIPnOUT.
This time of year is so much fun because it’s volleyball season! We go cheer on Shadow Ridge and watch Aunt Kaci play! Kayli loves to play volleyball at home and hit the ball “just like the girls do”. Makes her momma proud! We love going to the games.
We also went to Gilcrease Orchard this past week which is so much fun! We went with Heather and Alise and their kids. They loved the hay maze and picking out their pumpkins. The apple cider donuts are amazing!
A little about Beau…he is all boy and likes to climb things, bang things, break things, hide things, and ride things. He likes playing with toy cars or busses, playing basketball, giving kisses, finding Mr. Turtle in the backyard, reading Clifford books, breaking my dishes, decor, and mirrors, hiding keys in the garbage (I guess that’s part of being a boy?) and yelling “daddy”. That’s his word for everything! He doesn’t like watching TV, sitting still, or strolling around Target (boo).
A little about Kayli…she pretends all day long and has a crazy imagination. She is still obsessed with wearing a swimming suit every day. She loves going to grandma’s houses. She can’t wait for her birthday or Christmas. She likes shopping with mommy and one of her favorite things to do is to look at princesses at Target. She looks forward to Family Home Evening so much and likes to teach us about Nephi. She can sing The Itsy Bitsy Spider in Spanish.
A few more pictures…Kayli has discovered that she likes to push Beau in the swings now. The kids are obsessed with smoothies. If Kayli doesn’t drink hers fast enough-Beau finishes it for her! They also like breakfast outside. Books with dad are so fun too! They love visiting daddy at his work! The last picture was dad’s idea.
