Mandy took beautiful England family pictures… we’re missing Alex though!
Kayli got to go boating at Lake Mead with the young women and she loved it!
Girls’ Trip for my birthday. We went to Salt Lake and shopped and ate good food! We met up with Mindy both days which was so great. We also stopped and said hi to Grandma!
Celebrating my 38th birthday before I left town…
Beau tried out goalie one game… and he doesn’t ever want to do it again! And it just so happened that Bennett was playing goalie too- for the other team! It was pretty entertaining watching them!
We loved the Barbie movie!
Cousin sleepover…
Beau’s tournament team had fun playing in a couple tournaments in July…
Last days of summer…
Trey’s baptism day was perfect! He ended up last minute getting his own baptism and he was excited about that. Kayli and Emma gave the talks and they were so perfect. His Grandmas were the witnesses. Trey and I played a piano duet-Come Follow Me-which he worked on a lot and played so well. Chase, who is the Bishop, but also our best friend and knows Trey super well, said some really nice things about Trey and had us all teary-eyed. Madden and Beau said the prayers. It was a very special baptism. Afterwards, we had everyone over to our Clubhouse where we had lunch and every could hang out. It was perfect!
Mandy also took Trey’s baptism pictures…
Trey’s baptism…
Sami and Trey’s first day of school…
Kayli and Beau’s first day of school…
Beau turned 11! It was his second day of school so that was a bummer but kind of exciting at the same time since school was still new and fun to him. He had a fun morning with a balloon drop that Trey planned out, presents, and his favorite-cereal! I took him Raising Canes at lunch and Kenny and I took him to Twisted Sugar right after school. He wanted pizza and to watch some hockey videos that night and then had Bennett over to play. We ended up down at the grass playing with neighbors and he had fun playing hockey. He planned out a street hockey party for the next day!
Beau had some buddies over for a street hockey game and then we took them to Cereal Killerz for dessert. We had such a fun group of boys over! They were hilarious with the Cereal Killerz worker and even chanted his name as we were leaving for a good yelp review! It was the perfect night celebrating Beau!
Sami’s 6th b-day was so much fun! We were going to do a day trip to the beach with friends but then a hurricane was supposed to hit Souther California and Las Vegas and so we decided we better stay home and try the beach another weekend. We last minute made some birthday plans here. Grandma and Grandpa England came over Friday night and surprised Sami with the Barbie remote control car which she was so excited about! She loves Barbies and she got lots from us along with a Belle castle lego, and a Barbie nightgown. She was so excited for her birthday!
The hurricane weather meant much cooler temps and it turned out to be so beautiful outside for August so Sami decided on Mini Grand Prix first. We grabbed Elise and Audra and rode the rides then headed to Chick-Fil-A and then to our house so they girls could play barbies!
After that, Grandma Eliason surprised her with a trip to Build-a-Bear. Sami hasn’t put her Clare Bear down yet!
After that we went to Red Robin for her birthday dinner.
We came home and had her birthday cake before we headed off to night games at the park.
Madden’s birthday is the day after Sami’s and the canceled beach trip meant last minute plans for him as well. Since the weather was so great they decided to do night games for kids of all ages! Sami thought that sounded so fun on her birthday too and she got to see lots of friends. It started pouring but the kids still wanted to play. They played Fugitive and Capture the Flag. They thought it was so much fun! We were in sweatshirts in August in Last Vegas and by the end everyone was soaked! It made for a fun birthday!
