We carried on our tradition of going to a haunted house with Cahills and McCormicks. Chase LOVES it and it’s so funny because the rest of us don’t care that much but he gets so excited and plans it every year. It’s always fun to hang together though and it makes for some funny memories!
School pictures!
It was so fun to have Jen, Madi, and Jaelyn in town from Colorado. We miss them! Kayli was in heaven seeing Madi at Milani’s baptism and then playing with her during Milani’s volleyball game. It was so hard to take Kayli away knowing it would be a long time before she’d see Madi again. And of course I loved catching up with Jen!
We blessed Sami on October 8th. It was a special day!
The kids did the Apex Fun Run at their school. Beau was so fast and Kayli ran pretty fast this year too! It was fun to get to watch them run so much and have a good time!
We went and watched Keaten play volleyball and it was so much fun for me!
Last night we painted/carved pumpkins!
Little Sami is 2 months and such a joy to have around. She’s been our best baby yet! She, thankfully, is pretty content to sit and watch everyone around her and she smiles so big when you talk to her! The past 4 nights she’s also slept from about 10 p.m. until about 5 a.m. so that has been awesome! She sleeps the best in the car. We’re hoping to get our bedroom situation figured out this weekend so that in the next weeks I can start putting her in a regular place for naps! She weighs 11 pounds which is 40th% for weight.
Cousin Jake was born on September 26 so him and Sam are only 5 weeks apart.
Trey is still a crazy boy! At Sami’s doctor appointment today, the doc was feeling bad for me I think. He started telling me about wild little boys and studies about blonde haired, blue-eyed, ticklish boys being the most likely to be wild (he actually tells me this every time we are there, but he’s old and forgets and always feels bad that I’m fighting him so bad). I catch Trey doing the craziest things all the time. He loves Paw Patrol, jumping on the trampoline, playing with friends, and watching for Grandma and Grandpas at the baseball games. He insists on Grandpa England getting him out of the car. He is a runner and isn’t afraid to book it away from us. He is getting better at talking. He likes to sing “Once There Was a Snowman” and “Be What I Believe” with the older kids. He loves to sit on the island and help cook and get into everything. He is still so friendly and loving and we are working on sharing and staying out of other people’s food and purses!
Beau is doing awesome in school. He gets great Progress Reports and is a good friend to everyone. I was walking home from the park the other day and walked by the playground while his class was at recess. He didn’t see me but I saw lots of kids just flocked right around him. He is well-liked. He sees the good in everyone and likes to be friends with everyone. He is also doing great at baseball and he really loves the sport! He can do crazy tricks on his bike. He is easily distracted and we have to give him one instruction at a time or he forgets what he’s doing-it cracks us up. He’s pretty good about coming home and doing his homework without even being asked. He’s a sweet boy.
Kayli is doing better about going to school. She still comes home and plays school for hours. She loves it! Our loft is totally transformed into a classroom with homemade posters all over that walls and work stations and more. She loves it though and she’s so good about cleaning up and organizing when she’s done. She says she doesn’t like baseball and can’t wait for it to be over but I’m proud of her for trying something new and sticking with it and she does awesome out there! She totally looks like she’s having a fun time too so I don’t know why she says she hates it. She’s a great 3rd baseman and pitcher and she rarely strikes out. She’s even running faster! I love to watch her play! She loves getting to school early to do the monkey bars and loves making crafts and learning songs on the piano.
I played in a sand volleyball tournament last Saturday with Kelsi, Mindy, and Kelsi’s friend, Kellie, from Logandale. We had a blast. It was so hard and so fun and we did really good! I was so glad I could get out and do something active again. We’ve also got a women’s soccer team together again and our first game is next week!
Kenny is busy, busy. NeONBRAND now owns Work in Progress which is a big deal and really exciting for them. He works really hard but also has lot of fun!
We love being outside right now-the weather has been great!
Fun with cousins…
