October has been a fun month for us! I love this time of year and all the fun things there are to do and especially that it’s finally bearable outside. In fact, Kayli and I have finally been going outside for walks and she loves it! Kayli is a ball full of energy. I don’t know how she does it. She is so friendly and lately, loud! She squeals whenever she’s excited and it really is so loud (and cute). She points at everything and now says dada, mama, and yay. She practically runs everywhere too. Here’s a few pictures of her at 11 months:
We love playing at Toys R Us…

Friends Swim Day!
It turned out that both Jill and Casey were down the same week with their kiddos so Heather and I met up with them to swim. It was the first time all of our kids have been together. Kayli is the only girl in the group-but she’s got lots of cute boys to choose from one day! I love these girls so much. I took these pictures from Jill’s blog (thanks Jill) and I loved what she wrote and I agree…our friendships really began blossoming in high school and we’ve been super close since then. We’ve spent many days and nights together and even though we all live far away from each other (Heather and I are in the same city but on opposite ends!) we love getting together. Jill talked about how it’s so nice to have friends who are so much fun but also have the same standards as you-and that’s how I feel too! I’ve never had to change what I believe or compromise my standards-in fact, they make me a better person! Anyway, I wish we could all live in the same cul-de-sac in a cute little town and play all day…but enough about that. I love you girls! (And Alise, if you read this, you know we wished you were there-and you know I tried to get you to come…hehe)
I actually have no pictures to prove it, but Josh and Mandy came up to visit during Conference weekend. It was so good to see them since it had been a month since we had lost gotten together (we are going on a month again…sad…) We didn’t do anything too exciting since we were busy watching Conference all weekend but of course it was a fun weekend and Kayli loves it because they bring their dog, Boston. She really would love a dog, I just don’t want to take care of a dog!
Utah!
Last weekend we went up to Orem, Utah for my cousin, Kyle’s mission farewell. Kyle is such a fun cousin and we all love him so much. We have tons of pictures to prove how cool he has been throughout the year but he might not appreciate me posting them! Saturday, Kenny and I wanted to meet up with our friends, Clark and Jennifer, from San Diego who are now up in Salt Lake. We met them at Thanksgiving Point. Their little girl, Addie, and Kayli used to “play” together in San Diego and it was so fun to see them this weekend walking around together now! We were so glad we got to meet up with them! We miss everyone from San Diego! Thanksgiving Point was awesome and we only did the Cornbellies part. It sure made for some good pictures!
I can’t help but love this picture…
I can’t handle their expressions…so serious…yet, so funny.
The Collings family!
They had TETHERBALL! Kenny may have beat me…that’s ok. I let him win.
Sunday was Kyle’s farewell and we got to see almost all of my mom’s side of the family. I’ve always loved going to Utah and it’s still so much fun to go to Grandma and Grandpa’s house! It was a full house too! Emily, Kim, Rachel, Russ, Adam, Kenny, Kayli and I all stayed in the basement and with mom, dad, Grandma, and Grandpa also there it was quite the crowded-bathroom-house every morning-but so much fun! Kyle’s farewell talk was amazing and he had most of the family in tears. We had a nice lunch at Aunt Cindy’s house that afternoon and we got to see all of the cousins. My cousin, Christina just got back from her mission in Washington D.C. so it was fun to see her again too. Here’s some of the pictures we have of the cousins: (we are missing some)
Emily put a feather in every girl’s hair…even the aunts had them. Grandma is still waiting for her blue feather!
Kayli had a blast on the trampoline…she gets that from her dad’s side of the family.
More fun pictures…

Temple Night
Last night Kenny and I were home early from family dinner and we decided to go walk around the temple. We met my family up there and Kayli went running all around…
Pumpkin Patch!
I love going to pumpkin patches and I think it was even more fun this year having a kid to watch run around. She was SOOOO excited! She squealed and kept pointing at things and running around.
Her and daddy rode the super fast (not) train!
Love this…
Love this, too! The happy Grandpa has his grandkids! And Rachel just looks cute!
