Back tracking…Halloween! We had a blast this year because we had a kid to dress up and take trick-or-treating since she is walking. We went to our ward’s trunk-or-treat and she ran around all night lovin’ everything. She held on to her pumpkin bucket the entire night. I made her costume-a tutu that my cousin, Emily, showed me and I loved it so much I decided to make me one so we could be matching witches. On Halloween (also my dad’s birthday) we met up with all of my family at Town Square so that we could all see dad for his birthday and so that we could get cute pictures of the little cousins trick-or-treating. Loved Halloween this year!!!
For Veteran’s Day weekend we decided to head down to San Diego. We had a blast of course-even if it did rain! We tried the zoo hoping it’d just be cloudy but as soon as we got there it started raining and didn’t let up. We didn’t stay very long but that’s the nice thing about having season passes! Yeah! At least we have some funny pictures.
That night we got to take a tour of Josh’s ship. He’s in the navy and he took us on our own tour! It was pretty amazing!
In the captain’s chair…
The next day was beautiful so we had a picnic in La Jolla.
Sometimes dad lets her sneak treats…
On November 24th Kayli turned 1! I can’t believe it’s been a year since she was born! She is so much fun and she keeps me on my toes and laughing all the time. She has so much energy and lots to say and she “talks” with me all day long. We had her birthday party at FlipNout and it was so much fun (especially for me because I got to see so many friends!) Kayli loved running around on the trampoline and it was fun to see all of the other kids running and having a good time too.
Kari helped me make a jumbo cupcake for Kayli…
Unfortunately, Kayli wanted nothing to do with the cake!
She didn’t really care about presents either…but here’s a few of her favorites…
Thanks everyone for making Kayli’s birthday so much fun!!
Kayli’s actual birthday was on Thanksgiving. We had such a fun day and we kept busy! Here’s a few b-day pictures:
That morning we ran in the 5K Turkey Trot with the Eliason’s stake. It was fun and Kayli got to ride in the jogging stroller!
After that we played football with the Eliasons and Griffiths. I love playing football! It was a perfect day for a game and we had a blast. Then we ate Thanksgiving dinner with my parents and Kayli opened some b-day presents over there. That night I took my family and we went and played volleyball with the entire Eliason family. This was pretty much the best day ever to me because we played sports all day long! Haha! There are quite a few volleyball players when you get this group together! It was such a fun day and I love our little 1 year old so much! Here’s a few pictures of her lately:
Testing out her bike at the store…
When Mandy and I were getting ready, Kayli sat on the counter but then she climbed into the sink and sat there completely content…
Every morning Kayli gets this shirt out of my drawer and makes Kenny put it on her. Then she runs around like she knows that she is so funny…
Always talking on the phone…
