Well we found out that we will be having a BOY in August! We are pretty excited to have one of each. Kayli will be a great big sister and she already talks to him every day. She knows there’s a baby in my belly but she also thinks that she has one in her belly and so does her dad…hehe. I don’t know what to do with a boy-I never had brothers! It’ll be a fun adventure! We are excited!!! Baby boy is due August 15.
Kenny turned 29 on March 19! He informed me this year that he doesn’t really like birthdays so we kept it chill. We went to dinner with his parents and that was about it…just like he wanted. At work, Maribel decorated his office as she’s been doing for everyone for years!
Easter was an absolute blast this year. Kayli loved easter egg hunts and I had so much fun watching her! We had a Family Home Evening where we talked about the resurrection and then Kayli and Adam had to find the eggs that were hidden with the resurrection clues. Then we frosted egg shaped cookies. Saturday night we had a BBQ and egg hunt at my mom and dad’s. We put the kids in their Easter outfits since we wouldn’t see all of them on Easter. Then on Easter we had dinner and another egg hunt at the Eliason’s. Kayli had a blast all week! I have WAY too many pictures because she was so dang cute!
The GIRL table…except for Charlie (the dog) is here and Kayli is off running around…
Everything is a trampoline…
Aren’t these two ADORABLE?
I think Kayli gets all her latest dance moves from Adam…he’s pretty good and he loves “Paradise” by Coldplay. Haha.

San Diego Trip!
We were long overdue for a San Diego trip so we headed down last weekend for a quick trip. We miss Josh and Mandy and always have a blast with them.
I love this picture of Kayli. She’s ready for our road trip!
Funny faces…
Kayli absolutely loved playing with their dog, Boston, all weekend. We went to the San Diego Zoo and Kayli was super fun this time. She did great walking around and loved the animals.
We went to our absolute favorite Mexican Restaurant down at Old Town-Casa Guadalajara. The food is so yummy! While we waited we walked around Old Town and took pictures.
Last time we went to the beach Kayli wasn’t walking yet so we took her to walk in the sand-and she hated it. Haha, but we went to the dog beach so that Boston could come and Kayli loved all the dogs running around.
Here are some recent pictures of Kayli…

Signing “grandma”…
Kayli at 17 months (just about)…
1. She is obsessed with headbands. She wears hers, she wears mine, she wears two or three at a time, she wears them EVERYWHERE! And she puts them all on herself.
2. She has some pretty good dance moves.
3. She is GOOFY! She always has a funny face and I am amazed at how she knows how to be funny! I am constantly cracking up at the things she does or the faces she makes.
4. She “reads”…but not so much books as she does receipts or pieces of paper. It’s the cutest little thing when she uses her little reader voice.
5. She is a good helper. She always wants the broom and she sets the table every night.
8. She likes to play the piano with me. She doesn’t even bang the keys. She plays gently like she should.
9. She knows TONS of sign language. She communicates with us all day long and picks up new words all the time. It’s actually super helpful and pretty amazing at the same time!
10. She is a pro at the iPhone, iPad, and her little iPod touch….don’t know if this is a good thing for a 1 year old but still-pretty amazing! Here she is getting her iPod out of her pocket…I promise this doesn’t happen every day…
I have been feeling very good and am enjoying these last few weeks before I am big and uncomfortable. Thanks to Pinterest I keep busy and am becoming a better homemaker! Haha. We eat better, I clean better…and much more! The bad thing is I sit and wish I had a big house and lots of money so I can decorate!
