Kenny just turned 31.
His only birthday request was that we go to the Container Park downtown that night.
And I just love this picture…These kids love their aunts so much and I hope they all love each other this much for forever.
Sunday birthday dinner…
He recently took a trip to San Jose to hang out with the super nerds at Google (Kenny’s words, not mine).
We spend lots of days at the park because the weather has been so nice!
The other day Beau and Bennett were running up and down the hill with this cute girl. She fell down the hill and Beau helped her up!
I took Kayli to the BYU princess ballet show when it was here. My mom and dad came with us and Kayli loved it. Before the show we got to meet all the ballerinas and the first one we met was Kayley. So Kayli thought that was pretty cool and kept watching for her the entire show. She also went and said hi to her during intermission and after the show. During all the different princess stories, Kayli kept asking questions and asking where certain characters were. She was pretty into the show and still talks about it.
Beau got to hang out at work with Kenny while we went to the ballet.
Beau and Bennett do Totnastics together.
We planted a very small garden…we’ll see if anything actually grows!
Kenny and I got to go to a really fancy education gala because Kenny built the foundation’s website and I love anything about education (and a fancy dinner). We both had to borrow fancy enough attire and we felt pretty out of place among all the rich people! But it was interesting and the lady in charge obviously loved Kenny and bragged about him to the whole audience.
We went with the Cahills to FLIPnOUT amd Kenny spent way too much money on arcade games.
These kids love to ride bikes. Beau got one for Christmas and we finally just bought Kayli one. She picked out a princess one of course. She’s learning how to pedal and Beau’s bike is a balance bike that he just walks around with…doesn’t look like fun to me but I guess he’ll be riding a two-wheeler in no time! Haha. (Don’t mind Kayli…after I took the picture she said, “haha I was picking my nose!”)
Beau these days…He is obsessed with his cars. He always has one in each hand and one under his chin so that he can carry three at a time. If he wants to carry more than three than he uses a purse. He also loves riding his bike and goes clear down the street and back up the hill to our house. He knows what he wants and gets super frustrated when we don’t understand him so he throws about 100 fits a day-but we still love him. He loves to play basketball in his crib and he has amazing form and makes lots of baskets.
Kayli is just a good, fun girl. She is a great big sister and lets Beau play with her all the time. She is starting a gymnastics class next week. She doesn’t know it but she’s very good at making people feel special and loved. She is obsessed with her grandmas and grandpas and always wants me to text them a picture, face time them, or see if she can go play at their house. She loves hanging out with them. She’s great at memorizing things and can recite the First Article of Faith. She’s also memorized the entire Silly Sally book and she reads it to Kenny every night-with perfect fluency and intonation!
Sure love these kiddos…
