We took a trip to Utah at the end of October and did lots of fun things…
BYU football game…
BYU volleyball game…
Corn Belly’s…
More Utah fun…
We made it home in time for a Halloween picture with the Eliason cousins…
I got to help at the kids’ Halloween class parties…
Trick-or-treating:
Sami and Trey both earned the Citizenship Award for Volunteer because they are good helpers in their classrooms.
School pictures:
Our soccer seasons ended… so much fun watching these kids play soccer! Kenny is taking a break from coaching soccer. He has too much on his plate. Beau will play football this spring and he is still playing hockey. Kayli is doing club volleyball, Trey will return to his soccer team and Sami will start soccer- and I’ll be her coach! So we will be very busy once spring hits! We love it though.
Radley’s blessing day:
Primary program day… Trey invited Beau’s 3rd grade teacher from two years ago haha that he has become good friends with and she came! Beau’s hockey coach also came! Beau even played the piano for one of the songs.
Love when we get to see the Poulsen’s even if it’s short!
Zion’s Youth at the Smith Center was the perfect way to start off the Christmas season!
Kayli’s birthday: since she didn’t have school the week of Thanksgiving but her siblings did, we grabbed her friends and spent the day at the park, gettting In-N-Out, Target and FLIPnOUT.
We also grabbed dinner with mom and dad since we wouldn’t see them on her b-day.
Her actual birthday was on Thanksgiving!
We started the day with a Turkey Trot. Beau got third place overall with a 25 minute time. We had no idea he could run it that fast or run the whole thing. I guess all the hockey conditioning is paying off!
The rest of the day we spent with the Eliason’s for Thanksgiving this year. Kayli wanted to play volleyball so we put up a net and she played most of the day.
Setting up for Christmas:
Tate had lots of tickets to the Golden Knights game so we got to go with lots of the family while Taylor was here for Thanksgiving!
Kenny went skydiving! I said no thank you to that! He loved it though!
We also did a Christmas Pj’s breakfast, Christmas cookies, Eddy’s and FLIPnOUT while Kim, Austin, and Reef were here!
Kenny, Mike, and Chase took a quick little trip up to Zion to check out a hike they’re going to take the youth on next summer. They stopped at some of their favorite jeep shops too.
Sami joined the cutest little singing group. They have worked really hard and had three performances. They sang at a nursing home, then at Downtown Summerlin, and then had a friends and family performance at a school. It sure was adorable!
Kayli had her school volleyball banquet…
Pancakes and Pajamas at school…
Decorating Gingerbread houses with the Cahills and McCormicks:
Kayli is a busy girl but she somehow does it all. Club volleyball has her very busy but she’s improving so much and it has been fun. She has been busy this week studying for semester exams and working hard to get good grades. She got to work in her school’s garden. She teaches young womens a lot and she is working hard on piano pieces to play in church and at a nursing home for a Christmas recital. She was also asked to play the chimes on the organ for our Christmas program so she’s going to try that! She has been babysitting a lot and likes to ride her bike home from school now.
Beau is still playing hockey and loving it. He likes watching Golden Knights games.
Trey asks every day if friends can come over. He loves all of his friends so much. He has been working hard practicing to sing O Holy Night in a little children’s choir for the ward Christmas program.
Sami is excited for Christmas and to start soccer in the spring.
