The Pumpkin Patch is a tradition for us! We always make sure we get a picture of the 4 kids in the tractor. They have really grown up!
We went on our Halloween Date Night with the McCormicks and Cahills which is also a tradition for us. Every year we think there’s nothing left to do and also, how do we beat Boston from 2 years ago, but then McCormicks found something. It wasn’t a Boston ghost tour but still fun! We did a ghost tour on the Las Vegas strip and it was actually pretty interesting. We learned a lot of Las Vegas history that we didn’t know about and most of us grew up here! We also at at Maggiano’s at the Fashion Show Mall which I love because it overlooks the strip. We also ate at Sugar Factory. It looks amazing but wasn’t that good haha.
We went to the St. George Open House. It was so beautiful! We headed up there on Nevada Day (along with the rest of Las Vegas!)
After, we went to Staheli Farms and ran into Lindsay and the kids.
We had so much fun we went back that night with the McCormicks and Nesers! It was so beautiful at night.
Kenny and I were offered last minute tickets to the Ed Sheeran concert and we jumped on it. I’m glad we did because it was awesome!
We celebrated Dad’s 65th birthday at Eddie’s.
Decorating pumpkins…
Taylor and Addison came to town and surprised the kids. We had the kids dress up in costumes at family dinner and while we took a picture they ran back and were in the picture. It was so fun when the kids realized they were there!
Halloween morning is always exciting and we like to have a festive breakfast!
Sami’s cute class Halloween party…
Trick-or-treating in our neighborhood is the best! There are so many people walking the streets and it’s always so nice out. This year Kayli and her friends pretty much went out on their own and Beau, Bennett, and Drew stayed close by us. Trey and Sami ran around with all the rest of the kids in our group and Kenny and I pretty much just strolled around thinking our kids are getting too old.
Beau’s flag football team went 8-1 and made the playoffs. It was so much fun watching Beau play. He was the littlest ones out there but a great little defensive player and running back. It was pretty exciting when they made it to the playoffs. Their school made it really fun and at the quarterfinal game had balloon arches and cheerleaders and music when they won the game. They really made it special. They moved on to the semifinals which they made so fun too, but they lost that game which was so sad. It was so fun and I’m glad Beau went and tried out for this not even knowing anyone. He made lots of friends and it helped him become involved at the school. Kayli liked going to the games with her friends and she knows the cheerleaders so it was fun to see all the kids going and cheering.
Trey’s flag football team was so fun to watch. Mike and Chase coached the Pigeons to an undefeated season! They were the league champs! Trey loved to pull flags and he sure pulled a lot of them! He had so many cute friends on the team and we loved watching them play.
Kayli’s school volleyball team was fun to watch too. She was on one of the Varsity teams and had a lot of friends on the team.
Sami finished her soccer season with her cute team. Lindsay and I coached. Sami scored lots of goals this season and even got a hat trick one game. She also is getting the hang of passing and she’s aggressive out there!
Oh how we love going to watch Knights games. Kenny and I went with Mike and Erin to a game and they won 7-0 so that was awesome! We had amazing seats too. Beau has been to a few more games. He gets asked to go a lot since everyone knows how big of a fan he is!
Kenny was nominated for the Vegas Tech Awards so we dressed up and went to Allegiant Stadium for the awards night.
Kayli’s club team had their first volleyball tournament. Kayli played libero and did awesome. She has improved so much over the past year and plays with so much more confidence. She has so much fun with her teammates.
Decorating for Christmas…
Celebrated Kayli’s birthday with her friends and karaoke! It was a loud and fun night!
Our elf came!
Christmas tree hunting with friends! SO MUCH FUN! But I’ve already thrown out the tree. Haha. It was also our 15th Anniversary that day!
We celebrated Thanksgiving with a football game with friends in the morning that was so much fun and then dinner with Rachel’s family and mom and dad. We stopped by a drive-thru light show on the way home.
Kayli’s 13th Birthday was on Black Friday and she just wanted to shop all day! I can’t believe we have a teenager. Kayli is awesome. We sure love her!
A few more… Sami is a little reader! She is very motivated by Accelerated Reader so she reads a ton which I love. Kayli likes to bake. We had the Primary Program (Beau’s last one) and the pic of all the kids in uniforms is a typical Saturday for us! And some other funny ones. Sami looks like a teenager with her belt bag and that funny face of Trey makes me laugh.
