Busy October

The Golden Knights are back and we love it! I couldn’t help but snap pics of the ceremony before the first game where they presented the Knights with the Stanley Cup Champs banner at T-Mobile Arena where they play… it’s just so cool to me!

We currently have 5 sports teams between the 4 kids. Sami is playing soccer and I coach her team. Trey is playing flag football and their team is currently undefeated and full of lots of good friends. Beau is playing flag football for his school team and they are doing really well and he’s playing hockey. Kayli is playing volleyball for her school and her team has a lot of fun together. Their season ends soon and then she’ll be starting with her club team. The three oldest also take piano lessons, Trey is in the school choir, young womens, activity days, homework, studying… it gets busy around here after school!

Crafts during Conference…

Me, Kayli, friends and cousins went to the Taylor Swift concert movie and it was the best time! I loved it! Kayli and her friends would dance at the front of the theater and the moms would join in every once in awhile. It was nice to be able to sit down on the slow songs and recline and put up our feet and eat popcorn. You were encouraged to stand up, dance, and move around the theater which was so unusual but so fun!

Kenny has been busy with work and attending conferences…

Beau got to go to a Knights game with Grandma, Grandpa and Owen and he got to help the Minions pass out banners before the game! He has a blast at those games and Grandma said he is so much fun to go with- and I know it! He loves the Knights games!!

We had the Bozarth Fall Festival and Beau loved coming back to see his buddies from elementary school. They don’t get to see each other every day anymore. They played imaginary wall ball in honor of old times haha. I didn’t get too many pics of Trey because he was off with friends the whole night! Kayli loved coming to see Mrs. Darland (her fave teacher- 3rd grade) and Sami hung around with me so that was nice. Kenny, Trey, and Sami entered the pumpkin decorating contest and made a pretty cool looking Angry Birds display!

I took Sami and Trey to Gilcrease Orchard on our day off of school. We had fun even though it was so hot!

Sami is loving reading and she likes to read for a long time at night! She is so excited when she comes home with more reading certificates. And sometimes she reads until she falls asleep and we find her with the book on her. I love it!
