Adam Turns 2!
For Adam’s birthday we went miniature golfing. The kids were too cute to watch…
Fourth of July
I love the Fourth of July as long as we aren’t in Vegas. It’s just too hot to even enjoy fireworks at night. My family went up to Orem which is my favorite place to be for the Fourth, but we were moving that weekend and needed to be close to Vegas. Kenny’s family loves going to Alamo and I had never been up there before so we decided to go there for the Fourth this year-and I’m glad we did! It really was so much fun! We hung out at the little carnival thing they do all day and Kayli loved running around. It wasn’t too hot and clouds rolled in and then we actually got a little bit of rain so the weather was perfect! We ate lunch at Kenny’s aunt’s house which was also really fun. Kayli went swimming and played with a goat! We all played volleyball and really just enjoyed being able to sit outside! The fireworks show in Alamo was amazing! Kenny has always told me how the fireworks are seriously right above your head. It was one of the best and longest shows I’ve seen! We sure had a blast…
Brave…
Here’s a belly picture for you…
She wasn’t too sure about actually riding the goat…
Silly face!
The Big Move
This was our third summer moving in a row! And two of those times I have been pregnant. It wasn’t too bad though because my mom helped me pack up most of my house and then Kenny’s family and a few friends helped us move. Thank you!!! We also had most of the house unpacked in one day thanks to some of Kenny’s family. We LOVE our new place. Kayli finally has a backyard to play in and we love the area. We have been very lucky and I’m having fun decorating a new place and getting ready for a baby to come.
My Birthday
Rachel and I are the same age for 6 days so that makes us Irish twins!
OK you can’t even tell that Rachel is pregnant but she is due 11 days before me!
I turned 27 this month and I had the best birthday! All I really wanted was to stay busy and to have things to do that day. I don’t love sitting at home all day. It turns out I was busy all day! Mom and Rachel took me and Kayli to breakfast in the morning. I went with the girl in-laws for lunch and shopping and then Kenny picked me up for more shopping and dinner. It was the best day! I have one picture…
Play Dates
Lindsay had her nephew in town all week so we got together for play dates! The kids played over at our house on Monday, we went to lunch for my birthday on Tuesday, we went swimming on Wednesday, and to FLPnOUT on Thursday. I loved staying busy all week!
Look how good Lindsay looks as a mommy!
Family Reunions
We went with Kenny’s family up to Logan for 2 family reunions. The entire family went and it was nice to get out of town. We had a good time! We got to stay at my Grandma and Grandpa’s house one night and it was nice since I haven’t seen them in awhile. Kayli loved running around their backyard and Grandpa has a really nice garden she liked looking at.
First reunion…
The family minus Taylor…
The next reunion…and I don’t have many pictures…
Girl’s Trip
The girls in Kenny’s family decided that we were going to stay in Utah and do some shopping instead of coming home when the boys all had to. It was a blast! The first night we had a Bachelorette party while we watched the finale! Then we had a fun late night of chit-chatting. The next morning, or rather afternoon, (after getting 6 girls ready in one bathroom) we left Logan for Salt Lake. We stopped at the new City Creek mall and shopped away! The mall is so cute and Kayli loved all the fountains. It really was so fun just shopping with all the girls.
This is the new Brigham City temple that is about to open! It was so small and cute.
Us in front of Temple Square…
All of the girls!
That night we stayed at my Aunt Cindy’s house. I love her! She is so much fun and I was glad we got to spend some time with her and her family. The next morning Grandma and Grandpa came over too so I got to visit with all of them and it was really fun for me. Here is Kayli with Cindy-wearing my cousin’s flip flops.
On our way out of town we stopped at Hobby Lobby (one of my favorites!) and then ate lunch at J-Dawg’s in Provo with Taylor. Lindsay said they had some pretty good hot dogs and she was right! That night when we got to St. George we stopped to shop some more! Haha. Kayli was too funny trying on clothes with Kaci in the dressing room…
I think I need more girls’ trips! I had a good time and Kayli did pretty good the whole trip too.
Kayli lately…
1. She is obsessed with shoes. She wears my shoes, Kenny’s shoes, shoes at someone else’s house, stranger’s shoes…she doesn’t care. She’ll even walk around in high heels-and she does better than me.
2. She loves her new room. She is now in a “big girl” bed and she loves going to sleep. She’ll even tell me “bye”, shut her door, and go to sleep-it’s great!
3. She loves her daddy. She asks for him every morning and wishes he would just sleep on the floor in her room every night. We just hung up a picture of him in her room so she can see him whenever she wants.
4. We will be naming our baby boy Beau. Kayli can say his name perfectly but at the same time she signs the word “boat”. She might be surprised when a baby comes our of me and not a boat! We will see!
Here are some recents of her…
She loves when “Mimmy” does her nails and will tell you that Mimmy painted them…
She’s got her purse, necklace, and probably mommy’s shoes on…so she’s ready to go…
Helping daddy…
She found the moon in her high heels…
Well baby Beau is due in 18 days and I am just about ready for him to come. I’ll have pictures of him on my next blog post. Crazy!
