It’s a long one…
Sami started preschool! She was so excited to go with Audra and her cousin, Jake, and now she is friends with everyone else in her class too. She loves going! And I enjoy my 6 kid-free hours each week!
I went to Salt Lake for the weekend with Haley and Erin for Marlee Allred’s homecoming. It seemed like the perfect time to get away for a quick girl’s trip. We have wanted to visit the Allreds and we got to see Mindy too! It was so great! It was a perfect weekend exploring Salt Lake, eating all the good food and shopping at City Creek! I seriously loved some of the places we ate at and will definitely have to take my family to some of theses places next time we visit up there! We stayed at the Little America and that was fun too!
Bike track but very few pics…
Trey and dad outing to the pet store and Menchies…he wants a dog so bad and he’s so cute holding one at the store. I really don’t want a dog but man he’d love one!! He asks me regularly if we can go back and buy this black dog, Jett.
BYU Fan Fest…
We went to the BYU football game at Allegiant Stadium! We had been waiting for months to go to this game and see our BYU team and see the stadium (it’s new and where the Raiders play!) It was awesome! We went with both sets of grandparents and took Kayli and Beau. I loved everything about it. We had great seats too. After the game we went down and watched as the players walked around the field. It was so cool to see them. We knew Zac Wilson was there and we were all yelling for him to come over to us. Kenny was screaming his name so loud and we were dying laughing. We had a whole group of people join in with us. He totally heard us. We even had an usher go get him. It seemed like he wanted to come over-he kept waving but maybe we wasn’t allowed to-or maybe he didn’t care to haha. Either way, it was pretty hilarious trying.
We had a baby shower for Kim! She came to Vegas for a quick weekend trip. She even got to watch Beau play hockey. It was so good to see her and celebrate the new baby! She had Reef on October 16 and we can’t wait to meet him! We love to FaceTime them and just look at his cute little face.
The next weekend I took a quick trip with mom down to Coronado to help Kim get all settled and ready before the baby came! Last minute dad wasn’t able to go but we had to get all of her gifts from the shower and other baby gear down to her. Mom asked if I wanted to go and it worked out and so we left Friday afternoon and came home super early Sunday morning so we wouldn’t miss the kids’ primary program-so it was short but sweet! We even had some time for some good San Diego food and explored on the island. I love some of the houses there!
We had a primary program! That was something we really missed last year! This was the only year that all four of our kids will be in the program (Kayli will go to young womens in January!) They were adorable. They all invited neighbors and teachers and Trey’s teacher came and so did our neighbor, Callie! I got these pictures during a practice one day because they were too stinking cute! Trey sang his heart out and you could really hear him. He stood tall and still took this very seriously!
We went to the Arbor View football game to cheer for our neighbor, Talan!
Beau is playing flag football and it is so fun to watch him play! He sure hustles and loves to play defense because he tries to intercept the ball and run it back for a touchdown. He likes offense though too! He likes to watch pro football plays at home also. His team is so much fun and are a rowdy, entertaining bunch! They get so excited for each other and their celebrations are the best. He is still playing hockey as well. We love watching that too! Celebrations there are also quite entertaining. He is one passionate athlete!
Kayli and Trey started their soccer seasons. Kenny is coaching Kayli’s team again and they are fun to watch too! They are improving so much and Kayli is a master passer. She’s started scoring more goals too. It’s so fun to watch her enjoy soccer the way I do! Erin is coaching Trey’s team and he has lots of friends on his team. He scores lots of goals and is having tons of fun.
We took the whole family to a Golden Knights game and it was so much fun! We love our Knights and the games are awesome. Bro. Dover asked us and McCormicks if we wanted some last minute tickets for our whole family and so we jumped on it and made it work. He even gave us one extra tickey and so we took Taylor since he was in town and hadn’t been to a game so you know it was a party! Taylor, Beau, and Trey danced their butts off all night trying to get on the Knightron. All the kids loved it!
And then these boys went to another game! And THIS time Beau DID make it on the Knightron! And they saw Grandma and Grandpa Eliason there!
We went to Boston! Kenny and I went with Cahills and McCormicks and it was just seriously the best time. We flew red eye and basically didn’t sleep but got into Boston in the morning and just got at it. There was no time for resting. We did the Freedom Trail, saw the oldest ship in America, ate really good food (especially the Italian food in North End), went to Harvard, rode bikes in downtown Boston, looked at houses in Beacon Hill, went to Salem and found the houses in Hocus Pocus, drove through New Hampshire to get to Maine and saw the coolest lighthouse there (such a pretty place), went to Newport, Rhode Island and did the cliff walk and saw all of the pretty mansions, went to Fenway Park and saw a Red Sox game (the ending was one of the highlights of our trip!), saw the Boston Marathon finish line, ate cannolis at Mike’s Pastry, saw the temple and just had the best time. So grateful we have good friends and were able to do this with and grateful for family who helped with our kids!
Finally in Boston…breakfast first up!

Haunted house walk around the neighborhood…
Our ward trunk-or-treat was tons of fun. It was a Dia de los Muertos/family history theme. There was the coolest offrenda set up.
Sami is learning so much in preschool. She is always “writing” and she’s getting good at writing her name. I love all of the pictures her teacher posts!
We went to the Haunted Shark Reef on our day off for Nevada Day. Kids got in for $5 with a costume on and it was so much fun!
Another Knights game! They put on such a good show and we love our Knights! We were up the whole game and then then all of a sudden found ourselves in overtime. And then a shootout. And then more shootout. We dominated the whole game and got to see lots of goals and then an awesome overtime and intense shootout and we came out with the win so we left happy! It was such a good game to be at! Before the game we went down to the glass to see them warm up because why not haha?
Kayli played a special musical number in sacrament meeting! She worked her butt off. I was so proud of her. She worked with her piano teacher, at home with me, and on her own. She was so nervous (understandably!) and was so funny all through the meeting. She was giggling but also saying she couldn’t do it and her hands were sweating. And the first two talks went really long so she had to wait even longer to play her song! She ended up being the closing song. I went up with her to help her in case she lost her spot or anything else. She did awesome! When we sat down for the closing song she just sunk in the chair so relieved! After the prayer people ran up to her and couldn’t believe she had just done that! Not only did she play it so well but that is so scary to get up there in front of so many people and play!! She was pretty happy once it was over haha. So many people came up to her afterwards to tell her how cool it was that she did that and they couldn’t believe how well she played. She has worked really hard at a lot of things lately and I am just in awe by her.
Beau is also doing so well with piano. Their teacher always tells me how talented they are when it comes to playing the piano. He keeps us busy with football and hockey but we love it.
Trey earned a Citizenship award for demonstrating the character trait of Volunteer because he is always willing to help his classmates and is kind and trustworthy. His teacher told me she can always count on him to help her out by helping other students. She said he doesn’t just tell them the answers but he helps them get there! He also loves being pen pals with Mrs. Buell! He is so excited to start basketball soon.
Sami’s world is pretty back to normal. She gets to go to school, no masks, and she got to go on a field trip to the orchard! The other kids were so jealous. They are still pretty restricted in school. A field trip seems forever away. Trey especially wants to go on a dang field trip! Sami also loves tumbling and the park on Fridays! We are obsessed with how cute it is when she sings “Together We Stand” from Boss Baby. And she still calls people humans and I love it so much.
Kayli and Trey are super into playing school. Kayli always has been but Trey is now Mr. Eliason with his own classroom, badge, class lists, charts, and everything! Our loft is a constant mess of classrooms but they love it so much that I’ve had to give up on wanting a clean loft haha.
More pics of Sami…
A few more…
I got an electric scooter and we all have a lot of fun on it. Knee that still doesn’t work 100% means electric scooter for me! I can’t ride a bike uphill so I always have to get off and walk it and the kids take off without me on bike rides or coming home from school. This solved that problem!
