Beau is such a happy baby at 6 months! He’s also a huge momma’s boy so that’s fun! He is a tiny little guy and only in the 10th percentile for height and weight. He just started rice cereal and he loves it! He sleeps about 11 hours at night and takes great naps too. Kayli has been so good with him lately. She loves to bring him toys and show him how they work. She also likes to choose out the books to read to him. Here’s some recent pictures of Beau…
Here are both kids at 6 months…
Kayli is so much fun! I’m loving this age! She has full out conversations with me all day and she makes me laugh all the time. Lately, she is very much into helping me cook. She also FINALLY let me comb her hair and even put in pigtails! Now every day she wants her hair done and it’s super fun for me! She also loves dressing herself and changes her clothes no less than 10 times a day. Here are some fun pictures of her…
Always hiding!
You can hardly tell by this picture but she has pigtails in and she was pretty proud! (That is her “cheese” face.)
Loves to help cook!
I kept busy this month past month! I tried new things/learned about new things/or am getting better at things I used to do! I went to a Norwex party and am excited to start using my new cleaning cloths! I also went to a couponing class because I have needed to sign up for cheap Sunday papers again. I LOVE couponing and saving money every time I shop. I also started learning about Essential Oils and went to an awesome meeting/class the other night. I’ve got oils coming any day now! Basically…I’ve spent a lot of money lately but it’s all for a good cause! I also completed my first painting project (a crib) and now I have a list of things I want to redo in my house! It was fun, pretty fast, and easy! I tried kickboxing for the first time the other day and it was fun! I’m sure I looked like a big goof but it was a great workout!
Kenny stays busy working, working, working…at getting really good at slamball…slamball is this awesome ping pong game. You may have seen him post videos about it. Anyway, it’s awesome and I keep trying to get invited to come play but I think he’s afraid that I will beat them all like I do in regular ping pong! Haha. He is also working really hard with his company NEONBRAND and he loves what he’s doing. Check him out: http://neonbrand.com/
Last weekend we went to San Diego! We hadn’t been in such a long time and we were missing the weather, the beach, and of course our friends! We got to be there for Josh’s birthday.
We also played sand volleyball which is one of my favorite things to do! Josh and Mandy rounded up a bunch of school friends and we got a great game going.
First time at the beach…Beau and Lexi
Kayli LOVED the ocean!
We also enjoyed dinner at Casa Guadalajara and Phil’s BBQ which are AWESOME. Casa Guadalajara is at Old Town so we spent some time walking around and trying to make it in time to our favorite little candy shop. When it was closed we settled for root beer at this cute little shop…
We finally got to see Josh and Courtney too! They were our neighbors when we lived down there and they were pretty much the best neighbors ever! We love them! We had a great weekend thanks to all these people!
