Beau is now 7 months! He sits, is always trying to jump and loves the Jumparoo and trampoline (must be an Eliason!) and he is very smiley!
Kayli is so much fun. She amazes me every day. Recently she is very in to princesses and Dora. We are going to Disneyland in a few weeks and she can’t stop talking about how she will see princesses and Mickey, and Minnie, and Daisy…we’ll see how she does! She loves to help cook and loves when people come to our house. She also loves singing and dancing and everything is a song that she makes up, “I love my shirt…” “Going to grandma’s…” and so on! She also puts on dance shows multiple times a day, complete with a stage and dance outfits. Since Sunday she has carried her Book of Mormon around everywhere. She sings “Book of Mormon Stories” and every now and again will read her scriptures which is mostly her saying, “the end”. Last night when I checked on her she had her book right under her arm while she slept. She also dresses herself multiple times a day.
February was a pretty chill month for us. We have been loving the weather! We love going to the park and Springs Preserve with Heather, Kyan, and Kendall…
Kayli loves Kyan and still talks about how he came to her house to play…
We both have 2 kids now! It’s crazy how time flies because we were seriously just barely 11-year-old girls playing soccer together…
The other day we went to FlipNOut with my friend, Jamie, who has also been my friend for 15 years.
I’ve been up to projects this past month and I’ve got more to do! I’ve been loving re-finishing things and decorating for cheap! I made (with Kenny’s help) this to hang our purses/keys/bags from. I bought the hooks from Hobby Lobby for $2 each and used spray paint and wood that I already had.
Kenny built me this table for Christmas. I sanded, painted, and stained it. He says it cost a lot to make but he didn’t use any coupons to buy the crates! That KILLS me! Haha…it could be made for cheap.
Next I’m painting the changing table to match Beau’s crib and I’m working on some décor for his room. Maybe by time he’s 8 months old I’ll have his room finished…we are also thinking about painting our kitchen table and chairs (I think I finally have Kenny on board with all this refinishing stuff-he’s the one that really wants to do the table next!)
Valentine’s Day was fun! We went down to Kenny’s office for lunch and took treats to everyone that works there. Kayli had so much fun this year making Valentines for everyone. She loved sending a heart attack to Mimmy up in Idado and delivering Valentines to her family here!
Kayli and Beau have AWESOME grandparents…Kayli loves playing outside with Grandpa Eliason. She goes from one thing to the next and keeps him busy!
She loves making cookies with Grandma Eliason…
She was a great helper for Grandma England during Family Home Evening…
And who doesn’t love Grandpa England?
Cousins are the best!
And soon Kayli and Beau will have cousins on the Eliason side! Lindsay and Tate are having a boy and Kelsi and Nick are having a girl! Both are due in July! Yay!
Recent conversations with Kayli…
1. In the bathtub the other night Kayli noticed that Beau has a “tail”. The next day she asked, “mommy, why does Beau have a tail?” Ha.
2. Kayli tells us every time we get in the car, “Buckle your seatbelt, mommy. Buckle your seatbelt, daddy.”
3. The other day she told Kenny, “daddy, are you texting mommy? You should just call her.”
4. So I just said to her, Kayli what other funny things do you say lately and she reminded me of this one…This morning she started singing, “Shake your booty”. I laughed and started singing along and she said, “that’s what Aunt Kelsi does”…haha. Secret’s out, Kelsi! They did hang out last night…

That table made from the crates is super cute! Where do you find the crates at?
