Sami turned 7 on August 19th! We had a PJ late-over party with some friends a few days before. They made party bags that they filled with fun pampering items, had a dance party, played sleepover games, got foot massages and facials, and played. Sami loved it!
On her actual birthday she went to school and her one request was that I bring her Raising Cane’s for lunch- which I did. We gave her presents before school. After school we went shopping at Claire’s and then Audra came over to play! Trey and Kenny made her this cool Barbie frame (all Trey’s idea!) She also wanted to go to Eddy’s for her birthday dinner!
The kids had the Apex Fun Run at their school and I got to go help out.
Kayli’s school volleyball team entered the beginning of the season tournament and boy did they look good! They are so much fun to watch! We had some incredible games and wins but unfortunately didn’t win the tournament. They’ve had a great season and we are excited for playoffs!
Trey is on the elementary school football team. Other than the heat we’ve had every single game, it’s been fun to watch them play and they made playoffs so he’s not quite done!
Beau played on the school JV team. Owen was the quarterback on JV and loved throwing to Beau. They had some beautiful plays. We loved watching this team play. Their team did pretty good but didn’t make playoffs. But that means they are done with 6:00 am practices!
Beau’s hockey team was in a Vegas hockey tournament and they did so well! They lost in the championship game but it was awesome hockey!
We went to an Aviator’s game for the Faith and Family night and it was great weather, friends, and fun.
Baptisms for the Dead with Grandma…
Sami started soccer again…
Sami went to the Knight’s game for Jake’s birthday…
Trey was asked to sing with one other boy during the senior primary song at Stake Conference. They sang the second verse and the ending. The whole choir sounded amazing and the boys did great. They practiced a lot with Kathy and were ready!
We watched Tate and Lindsay’s kids for 5 days while they were on a trip. It was fun and crazy at the same time. We had to make 7 lunches, get 7 kids fed, get 7 kids to bed and up in the morning which was quite interesting but we did it! We had to get a picture of our family for the week…
We had a primary activity days temple outing and Liv got to go with us since we were watching her. It was such a cute activity and fun to be at the temple with Trey!
The kids have had some fun youth activities…
We went to the UNLV football game with the Cahills since UNLV is doing so well and it was such a fun game until the last second when UNLV lost.
Kenny and the boys went to Father’s and Sons…
The kids’ school fall festival was fun!
Our traditional outing to the pumpkin patch…
Kayli went to a UNLV volleyball game with Grandpa and the Ellsworths and she was chosen for the serving game. She hit the target and won free Raising Cane’s and a prize bag so that was pretty cool!
Rudy turned 1 on October 23 so we had a puppy party with his siblings!
After 3 1/2 years of serving, Kenny was released from the Bishopric. He is now serving in Activity Days! He is Trey’s leader. And after 2 years of serving as Kayli and Beau’s youth Sunday School (which I loved) I was called as the Relief Society 2nd counselor which I’m excited about! I think it will be a lot of fun working with the women in the presidency and I am excited to try something new. Kenny has been so busy with work and traveling to conferences. He even went and visited Grandma Varney while he was in Salt Lake. I have been busy subbing- I just finished 12 straight school days in the library which was so much fun! I was happy to help out the librarian, who I love, and I became good friends with the library aide.
And a few more…
